Alex Wyatt

Drums

Hailing from Denver, Alex studied under Paul Romaine before moving to New York and majoring in jazz at New School University, where he received a BFA, under the tutelage of Carl Allen, Lewis Nash, Ari Hoenig, George Garzone, and others. Performance opportunities in New York and abroad have included those with Gilad Hekselman, Gary Versace, Kevin Hays, Salo, My Cousin the Emperor, Maddy Wyatt, and two tours in Japan with Masa Yamamoto.

Alex currently performs in New York on a reglar basis with the Nitzan Gavrieli trio, and the Zach Lane trio. He would like to thank his parents for their endless love and support.
